Paula leaves guiding her sweetheart, caretaker and adoring spouse, GF Mason of the household. He grew to become her principal caretaker through sickness. She is also survived by 1 son, Christopher Johnson (Deidra) of Vashti daughters, Stephanie J. Mishoe of Statesville, Maleia M. Orbison of Statesville, and Dayna M. Posada (Tony) of Statesville nine grandchildren, Pepper and Zeke Mishoe of Statesville, Levee Courier of Statesville, Colton Johnson of Vashti, Bella Terblanche of Statesville, Gabby and Dante Posada of Statesville, Tanisia Smith of Wilmington, and Kaden Smith of Vashti. Also surviving are brother, Tim Harris (Jan) of Chesterfield, S.C., and Marty Harris of Statesville specific nephews, Craig Campbell (Kim), Mickey Campbell (Teresa), Eddie Campbell, Jonas Campbell, Mark Mason and Jimmy Mason nieces, Nichole Flynn, Skylar Campbell, and Sharon Adams (Dale) specific aunts and uncles, Melvin Harris (Shirley) and Marie Harris. Paula had several cousins that she had distinctive memories of from a unique time. Other survivors are previous Central Faculty Staff members and her treasured Central “Babies.”
A Celebration to honor Paula’s lifestyle will be on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Rocky Hill Baptist Church in North Iredell. Primary the assistance will be Pastor Henry Cook dinner and assisted by Julia Prevette and various “Central Infants.” Burial will comply with in the church cemetery.
